General Surgery

 

The Western Washington Medical Group general surgeons strive to provide high quality skills and very personal service in helping the patient through a potentially stressful time.  Whether the patient is seen for a problem or issue that proves to not require surgery, or the patient has the need for a complicated procedure involving several days in the hospital, and  prolonged follow-up care,  we can aid the patient though all phases of the necessary care.  Our office staff is readily available to answer questions related to an upcoming procedure, and also those that occur after surgery. 

 

Although the term "general surgeon" seems to imply a surgeon that does a little bit of everything, the name is somewhat of a misnomer.  Each of us has done at least five years of very specialized surgical training, so as to become an expert in this area.  We are each board certified by the American Board of Surgery and are Fellows of the American College of Surgeons.  We provide a wide range of services, both for consultation and surgery in the following areas:
