Mission of our Psychiatry Care Center
Like every department at WWMG, our psychiatry care center aims to provide comprehensive patient care in a warm and welcoming environment. Though there can often be negative stigmas and sensitivities associated with mental health issues, our care center strives to eliminate these barriers to treatment and address the core disorders that so many face in a collaborative way with each individual.
The ultimate goal is the optimal well-being of all of our patients and that includes the diagnosis and treatment of both physical and mental issues. Our approach uses evidence-based psychiatric evaluations and treatments coupled with traditional medical care for physical ailments, producing what we believe is the best formula for overall good health.
Meet Your Provider
Shirin Schilling, MD is a Board Certified psychiatrist with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She believes in developing a comprehensive treatment plan with her patients and identifying the core issues in their lives that contribute to the detriment of their wellness.
In her spare time, Dr. Schilling mentions that she enjoys spending time outdoors in the “vast beauty” of the region in which we live.
Adults who are facing any of the following common disorders and impairments may seek diagnosis and treatment at our clinic:
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Bipolar Disorder
- Psychotic Disorders
Please note that our services are not limited to these issues alone; if you have a question about a mental health challenge that you or someone in your family is struggling with, please inquire with the Psychiatry Care Center to see if treatment is available. If it is not offered at our facility, our team will do our best to refer you to a professional in our network that can help. The well-being of our patients is our top priority.
In addition, our care center accepts most insurance plans for psychiatric treatment to minimize out-of-pocket expenses when possible.
