Services Provided

The convenience of Walk-in Clinics is a huge plus for any community. At these facilities, you have access to top-quality medical professionals who are able to treat you in the moment, without the expense of an emergency room/urgent care scenario.

Any non-emergency/non life-threatening issue that needs immediate attention can be addressed with a same day appointment at both the Lake Serene and Whitehorse Family Medicine Walk-in Clinics. Patients of all ages are welcome to use the Clinics, plus continue to use traditional scheduling for other, less urgent appointments.

Visit our Walk-in Clinics for help with any of the following:

  • Allergies
  • Asthma
  • Burns
  • Colds/Flu
  • Contraception
  • Diabetes
  • Eye Infections
  • Headaches (migraine)
  • Insect Bites
  • Injuries
  • Lab Tests
  • Respiratory Infections
  • Sexually Transmitted Diseases
  • Sinus Infections
  • Skin abnormalities
  • Stomach Pains/Discomfort
  • Urinary Tract Infections
  • Vaccinations

The only requests the staff are unable to accommodate at the Walk-in Clinics are life-threatening emergencies, physical exams, prescription refills or treatment of chronic conditions. Those still need to be scheduled as a regular appointment and fulfilled with your primary care doctor.

A Compassionate Approach to Care

Our Walk-in Clinics take a warm, family-centered approach to treating patients. Using evidence-based, empathetic approaches, the practitioners follow a holistic philosophy about treating the whole person vs. just their specific ailment. They believe in nurturing the mental and emotional side of patients as they help them work through the physical issues that brought them in for treatment. Establishing a respectful partnership between the patient and the provider is important to the team.

In addition, as part of the Western Washington Medical Group, patients who utilize the Lake Serene and Whitehorse Family Medicine Clinics will have access not only to the practitioners on-site, but also a large network of specialists and partner facilities that the team may refer them to, if needed, such as providers based in Skagit and Snohomish County as well as Cascade Valley Hospital.
