Whitehorse Family Medicine in Arlington Now Offering Walk-In Clinic Service

The Western Washington Medical Group Whitehorse Walk-In Clinic, which opened in November, is the only clinic-based walk-in clinic in Arlington. Beyond its community, Whitehorse also serves patients from Lakewood, Stanwood, Camano, Marysville, Lake Stevens, Darrington and Granite Falls.

For patients who need to be seen promptly, but are not experiencing a life-threatening emergency, the walk-in clinic can help with a range of treatment needs — from coughs, colds, sore throats and ear aches to sprains and minor cuts. Management of chronic medical conditions, physical exams or prescription refills are not services provided through the walk-in clinic.

The walk-in clinic offers a call-ahead option, with some slots available every day for scheduled appointments. If those slots are filled, however, patients can always just walk in.

As an additional convenience, the clinic is in the same location as the northernmost lab for Western Washington Medical Group. Whitehorse Walk-In Clinic hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5:30pm.

All seven providers at Whitehorse cover the walk-in clinic. On select days, it also doubles as a specialty provider location for Western Washington Medical Group. Dr. Phillip Shaw (Podiatry) sees patients on Monday afternoons. Dr. Vinaya Chepuri (Cardiology) is on site Thursdays. Other specialty providers may join them in the near future.
