My philosophy is centered on delivering evidence-based treatments while caring for the patient holistically. I am dedicated to fostering collaborative relationships where patients feel heard and supported. I believe that providing patients with the tools and knowledge they need—especially in a language they fully understand—is essential for them to have autonomy over their health. My ultimate goal is to empower my patients to make well-informed decisions that enhance their overall quality of life.

I have always been fascinated by the gastrointestinal system and the “brain-gut connection,” recognizing that how our bodies process nutrients is a foundational pillar of overall health. My path to medicine was also deeply influenced by my personal experiences. Watching my mother, who was a CNA, build a genuine rapport and establish trust with her patients inspired me to adopt those same values. Additionally, seeing my own family members struggle to navigate complex healthcare systems due to language barriers and health literacy fueled my mission to ensure no patient feels left behind or confused about their care.

My fiancé, Zach, and I are proud to call the Pacific Northwest home. We share our house with our cat, Princess Leia, who is the true queen of the household. In my spare time, I enjoy going on long walks, hiking through our beautiful local trails, and working out at the gym. I also value my time at home, where I love to get lost in a good book and spend quality time with my loved ones.
