Cardiology

Cardiology has always fascinated me because it combines physiology, precision, and measurable impact. I am drawn to the clarity of being able to see cardiac function in real time—whether through imaging or electrocardiography—and to apply evidence-based interventions that meaningfully improve both longevity and quality of life.

My approach to patient care is collaborative, respectful, and evidence-based. I strive to treat the whole person, not just the condition they present with. My background in family medicine and military service has reinforced the importance of understanding each patient’s life circumstances, stressors, and goals. I do not approach care with judgment — I aim to understand a patient’s perspective and work together to create a plan that is both medically sound and realistic for their life.

Although cardiology is highly specialized, effective heart care requires understanding the full clinical picture. That balance of depth and comprehensive thinking aligns naturally with how I practice. I hope patients feel heard, respected, and not alone in managing their health. My goal is for them to leave with a clear understanding of their heart health and a thoughtful plan moving forward — one that feels achievable and personalized to them.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, gardening, and working on DIY projects. I also enjoy ice skating and spending time with my family and animals. These activities help me stay balanced and grounded.
