Richard A.H. Jimenez, MD
“My first goal and duty is to provide each patient with the best diagnosis that I can. My second is to teach each patient about their conditions and treatment options. My third, is to support each patient in their treatment decisions, even at times, in spite of my own biases.”
Dr. Jimenez has dedicated his career to evaluation, treatment and clinical research involving many aspects of Rheumatology, including rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, other autoimmune diseases, and non-inflammatory conditions such as hypermobility syndrome, osteoarthritis, and other diseases.
After practicing in Edmonds WA, he was a founding member of The Seattle Arthritis Clinic, where he functioned as President and Medical Director prior to moving to WWRA. Dr. Jimenez is a clinical associate professor of medicine at the University of Washington.
After escaping the Midwest, Dr. Jimenez has spent his leisure time pursuing typical Northwest activities, including hiking, mountaineering, fly fishing, biking and boating. He leaves the horseback riding to his wife and two daughters.
