After serving as an infantry marine in Iraq, I spent years searching for a career that gave me the same sense of purpose, the feeling I was making a positive and tangible difference in the world. I found that purpose in medicine.
I chose to become a family medicine physician because it allows me to care for people through all stages of life, supporting them in everything from chronic conditions to everyday wellness to achieving personal goals. As a family doctor, I value building relationships with my patients—partnering with them in their care and being a supportive resource and advocate along the way.
Outside of work, I enjoy weightlifting, hiking, camping, fishing, video games, reading, and spending time with my wife and daughter.
