I started my career as an Adult Nurse Practitioner working in internal medicine, then returned to school in 2010 to earn my Family Nurse Practitioner degree. Since then, I have been providing care in family practice and primary care settings. The last few years I have worked with underserved populations in Western and Eastern WA, and am excited to join the team here at Everett Family Medicine.

My philosophy as a provider is that the patient is the expert in their own health experience. I provide them with evidence-based medical treatment options, health education, and lifestyle recommendations while respecting their personal choices. I enjoy educating my patients, especially on disease prevention and wellness, nutrition, movement, and holistic self-care practices to support their physical and mental health.

Partnering with patients to manage their stress and lifestyle choices is an important part of care, because these factors have a profound effect on chronic disease outcomes. My goal is to keep patients well, out of the hospital, and support them in being able to do what they love.

I am originally from the East Coast, but have been here in the Pacific NW for the last 4 years and love it. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, paddle boarding, and spending time in nature.
