Visit Snohomish Family Medicine

“We’re part of a very close and strong community.” —Dr. Douglas Trotter

Established in 1953, the Snohomish Family Medicine practice provides traditional care appointments for the whole family and offers the added benefit of a Walk-in Clinic for those instances when seeing a physician promptly is necessary,

With over 60 years of service, this independently owned facility gives patients peace of mind by way of expert medical staff and a sense of community that can only be found in such personalized care.

What makes Snohomish Family Medicine different?

The clinic has a strong focus on community and takes a “from the heart” approach to care for their patients. Made up of a team of medical professionals of varying backgrounds and areas of expertise, they use collaborative methods to ensure each person gets the absolute best treatment possible.

What’s also unique about this group of doctors is their dedication to the greater good. A community-focused initiative that began with the clinic’s founders in the 1950s carries on today. Periodically, each of the doctors at Snohomish Family Medicine take a year-long, unpaid sabbatical—often overseas—to treat underprivileged communities that have less access to quality care.

Finally, Snohomish Family Medicine is part of the Western Washington Medical Group, which enables the providers to consult with a large network of specialists in real time and refer patients out to them for additional care if needed.

How does the Walk-in Clinic work?

For those times when a medical situation is not life-threatening, but needs immediate attention, the Snohomish Family Medicine Walk-In Clinic can help. Open Monday – Saturday and select holidays, the clinic serves all ages, works with most insurance plans and also accepts cash and major credit cards as payment for care. Please note: prescription refills and physical exams cannot be accommodated on a walk-in basis.
