WWMG Partners With Island Health to Offer Pulmonary Services in Anacortes

Starting in July 2023, WWMG will offer pulmonary and sleep medicine services at Island Health in Anacortes. These will be the only pulmonary outpatient services available in Skagit, Island and San Juan County.

WWMG’s board-certified pulmonary physicians diagnose and treat disorders of the lungs and respiratory system, including asthma, lung cancer, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, chronic cough, sleep disorders and more.

The new clinic is called Island Pulmonology and is located on Island Health’s campus at 2511 M Avenue, Suite C (Lower Level) in Anacortes.

Since 2012, WWMG’s gastroenterology physicians have provided outpatient care and GI procedures at Island Health. Now, with the addition of pulmonology, we are excited to expand our partnership to provide more patients in the community with high-quality, personalized care for respiratory issues and sleep disorders.

WWMG has served patients and their families since 1993, and is the only locally-owned multi-specialty medical group in the Puget Sound region. As WWMG celebrates its 30th year, WWMG CEO Dr. David Russian shares, “As it has been all along, delivering the best possible patient care continues to be our reason for being.”

Island Health operates primary and specialty care clinics in Anacortes and on Orcas Island, serving patients across Skagit, Island and San Juan counties. Island Health’s specialty services are rapidly adapting to meet the needs of the community.

“Island Health is thrilled to partner with WWMG to bring pulmonology services to our hospital district and beyond. This collaboration enables our community to have access to board-certified pulmonary physicians, keeping care close to home for our patients,” said Island Health CEO Elise Cutter.

WWMG physicians serving patients at Island Pulmonology include:

  • Tom Ziedalski, MD
  • Abigail Doyle, DO
  • Seth Hartung, MD, and
  • Niket Nathani, MD

These providers are now accepting referrals from primary care and other specialties. Patients may also call directly at 360-299-4273 to request a pulmonology or sleep medicine appointment in Anacortes.
